You should be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Computer Science, IT, or related program at a recognized institution in Botswana. Basic programming knowledge is required – you don't need to be an expert, but you should understand fundamental concepts like variables, loops, and functions. A willingness to learn and collaborate is essential.
The program is structured as an industrial attachment/internship for academic credit. This is an unpaid position focused on learning and professional development. The real value is the hands-on experience working on production systems, mentorship from senior developers, and industry exposure that will set you apart when entering the job market.
For the Full Stack track: basic PHP and JavaScript knowledge is helpful. For Mobile: familiarity with Dart or JavaScript (React Native). For Database: SQL fundamentals. Don't worry if you're not an expert – our bootcamp will bring you up to speed on our specific tech stack. What matters most is your ability to learn quickly and problem-solve.
There is a possibility! We evaluate interns throughout the program and may extend job offers to top performers based on business needs and individual growth. Even if we don't have an immediate opening, you'll leave with strong references and a portfolio of real work to show future employers.
